AlexLazr for Age Spots and Pigmentation

This laser seeks out darker pigment and fragments the pigment particles. • Volume Replenishment - Typical requirements are a total of 1 Radiesse syringes per hand to attain a full smooth replacement of the cushioning on the back of the hands. In some instances an extra syringe is required (total 3) if your hands have lost substantial mounts of their natural fat layer or have a very prominent bony appearance. Men may require up to 2 syringes if their hands are large.

How is Radiesse injected?

A simple out-patient procedure, it is performed under local anesthesia in the physician's office and takes about 15 minutes. Injection pain is minimized or eliminated by use of a topical cream (ELA-Max)  or pain blocks may be performed immediately before the procedure. Following the procedure, patients may immediately return back to daily activities, however, treatment sights may be swollen for 1-2 days. There is also potential for bruising at the injection sight, which may be covered with concealer.

How long will the results last?

Depending on the areas treated, most of the correction may last for many months, or even years. Dr. Pilest's patients usually see results that last between 1 to 2 years. Touch up treatments may be necessary to maintain desired correction.
