eMatrix Skin ResurfacingSkin Resurfacing for ALL Skin TypesFinally! - The All Skin Color, All Skin Type Non-Laser Skin Rejuvenation System Get the effects of laser without the laser side effects on skins prone to discoloration. Why are physicians reluctant to use common laser on ethnically mixed skin? Skin with a genetic likelihood of hyperpigmentation is always at risk with laser treatments because lasers, even with all the cooling mechanisms at hand, affect the upper layers of skin. This often means post-treatment hyperpigmentation as the top layers of the skin are also impacted by the laser. And while it is temporary, hyperpigmentation is always an undesirable side effect. The eMatrix™ Sublative Rejuvenation treatment provides a way to reduce the risk of post treatment hyperpigmentation to a mere fraction of the risks posed by laser because the RF energy is not absorbed by the pigment-producing cells
eMatrix News VideoWhat problems will eMatrix™ treat?
eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation is a non-laser and non-light−based treatment that utilizes Radio Frequency energy delivered to the dermis where it can produce significant deep tissue improvements with very minimal impact on the epidermis. ***By bypassing the epidermis and delivering the energy at a deeper level, the problems associated with pigmentation are reduced to a minimum.
Patients can participate in decisions of how mild or aggressive they want their treatments to be. The eMatrix allows a very customized treatment plan which can create intense results with more aggressive treatment and more social downtime or opt for mild treatments with only a day or two downtime spread out over more sessions.
Is eMatrix™ painful? Patients will have the treated area numbed with a topical anesthetic. Heavy duty pain medication is not needed for this procedure. Sensations are like the snap of a rubber band. Treatments last from 10 to 20 minutes depending on area coverage. What about downtime? Downtime is variable. Mild treatments may include a couple of day’s social downtime (where you’ll be red with possible slight swelling). More aggressive treatments mean more downtime. You will not be restricted from activity, but the redness and mild crusting will probably be obvious enough you will wish to stay home – or refrain from social activities. Everyone heals differently and the level of treatment will determine to a great degree your expected downtime. Plan on 4 to 5 days social downtime with mid-level treatments or about a week for aggressive treatments with the highest density level of energy. “Downtime” post treatment effects include redness, some swelling, mild crusts and some itching as the skin heals.
