Pellevé™ for Skin Tightening

What is Pellevé?

Pellevé is the newest wrinkle-fighter with what is arguably the most comfortable process. Developed with a gradual dermal skin heating process using Radio Frequency, Pellevé gently builds collagen-boosting heat levels until your skin reaches a designated temperature. This increased temperature is what begins the process of skin tightening and wrinkle smoothing.

The process, although somewhat similar to Thermage, delivers the skin boosting heat in a different way. Pelleve uses a smooth, consistent radio frequency delivery process that is not based on "pulse" like that of Thermage or some other RF energy devices.

Pellevé is FDA approved for safely treating mild to moderate wrinkling and provides an appreciable level of skin tightening over time as the new collagen being formed is tighter and firmer. Just as fabric in our clothing, or elastic in a waist band loses its ability to return to its original shape, our skin's collagen and elastic fibers do the same thing. The heat generated from the treatment, and the subsequent new elastic fiber growth, are what make your skin recapture some of its smoothness and firmness.

A single Pellevé treatment will provide visible subtle results and a 2nd or 3rd treatment will build upon those initial improvements. You decide when you've reached the look you want.

• neck wrinkles
• chest wrinkling
• jowl sagginess
• neck laxity
• overall facial laxity and looseness
• body skin looseness

What after-care is needed?
Basically nothing. We'll encourage you to use sun protection, but there is no after care or concern. You may experience a little bit of puffiness or redness that goes away very quickly.

How long do the effects last?
Response thus far indicates that 87% of patients are still enjoying results 6 months later. Afterwards? You can come back in for "tune ups" when you desire.

How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the size of the area, from about 15 minutes for around the eyes to about 1 hour for a full face.

Can any skin color use Pelleve?

Absolutely. Radio Frequency is "color-blind" and is a safe procedure for all skin colors.
