Stretch Marks treatment by RelumeWhat is Relume and how does it work? Relume Repigmentation Phototherapy system is a device used for the treatment of stretch marks, also known as Leukoderma. Lerkoderma is the absence or reduction in normal pigmentation. Sunlight phototherapy for skin disorders has been successfully used for hundreds of years.Relume therapy is an accurate, reliable, and convenient treatment for numerous skin conditions. The Relume system delivers highly concentrated therapeutic ultraviolet-B (UVB) light intended for the medical treatment of conditions of lost skin pigmentation (leukoderma). The light energy is developed to hypopigmented skin without exposure to the healthy surrounding tissue. The UVB light stimulates melanocytes and the production of melanin. A hand piece is used to produce a uniform, circular beam that is emitted through the output lens. Light is transmitted from the console to the hand piece onto the skin. What does Relume treat? It treats scars, stretch marks, Vitiligo, burns, resurfaced skin, and other dermatological conditions that are white. Are there any side effects to Relume?
