The Silhouette Instalift® is a minimally invasive procedure that recontours the midface by lifting the deep layers of the skin using absorbable sutures. The sutures are made from polyglycolide/L-lactide (PLGA), which is a safe, well-tolerated material that is reabsorbed by the body.
The Instalift® lifts and volumizes the skin using Micro-Suspension TechnologyTM It provides a subtle but effective lift to the midface, particularly the cheeks and deep nasolabial folds.
Although the Silhouette Instalift® provides similar benefits to a surgical facelift, the results won’t last as long as a surgical procedure. The results of Silhouette Instalift® last an average of 18 months.

An Instalift® takes less than an hour to complete and requires minimal recovery. The degree of lift achieved with the Silhouette Instalift® will depend on the degree of skin laxity. Silhouette Instalift® works better for people with mild to moderate sagging in the midface.
