Does it seem as though there is an endless number of anti-aging injectables out there, all promising to help keep you looking (and feeling) youthful?
You’re not alone. With over two dozen FDA-approved anti-aging injections available on the market today, it can be tough to know which one is right for you – and what are the key differences between all of them.
That’s where we’re here to help.
Let’s take a look at the biggest differences between two of the most popular anti-wrinkle injections: Botox and Dysport.
In general, Dysport is priced a bit cheaper than Botox, despite the fact that they both are approved for the reduction of frown lines. However, this price difference may quickly run out if you need more Dysport injections to achieve your results, as the two injectable formulas are different to one another.
Keep in mind that neither injection is covered by health insurance plans, so all treatment costs will be out of pocket.
While both Botox and Dysport are FDA-approved for the treatment of frown lines, their similarities end there. Botox is also FDA-approved for the treatment of forehead lines and wrinkles, as well as reducing the appearance of crow’s feet. Dysport is not.
While every patient is different, Botox results tend to last a bit longer than Dysport. However, if you want to see your results sooner, you may want to try out Dysport, as clinical trials have shown that it can create results a few days earlier than Botox.
"WOW! I went into my appointment with a negitive attitude. I have all of my cosmetic procedures done in Europe and have very high standards. Even though I came across skeptical, I was treated with patience and respect. I had PRP and Botox and am so impressed with the quality and results. It is so nice to have a doctor that knows what he’s doing!
Thank you!!!!!"
