HOW THERMIVA WORKS

EXCLUSIONS

• ThermiVa for vaginal rejuvenation cannot be performed if you have a cardiac device or any other device affected by radiofrequency energy.
• Treatment cannot be performed if you are currently pregnant.
• If you have recently given birth, it is recommended to wait at least 6 weeks before treatment.

BEFORE TREATMENT PLANNING

***In preparation for your appointment, the area to be treated should be shaved or closely trimmed. Shaving should be done the day before your scheduled treatment; hair laser or waxing at least a week before.

***A pregnancy test will be administered in-office immediately before each ThermiVa treatment. If you are menstruating, treatment is not contraindicated, however, you may want to plan your treatments around your cycle for your own comfort.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT

Treatment is performed by one of our fully-trained Registered Nurses. Rest assured your entire treatment experience is done with the utmost of privacy and sensitivity in the singular attendance of our female nurses assisted by female staff.

During treatment, the wand is gently moved along the external and internal area of the vagina to heat up the tissue. The sterile, disposable ThermiVa wand is no larger than the size of an index finger and is equipped with a small panel on the tip that emits the radiofrequency energy.
